All IFS students stay in an on-campus Residence Center during the program, usually with an assigned roommate from their IFS class. One or more current IU students will live on each floor for the duration of the IFS program. They will serve in the capacity of Residence Assistant (RA), and they will help you adjust to your new environment and answer questions about the program and about campus.
As part of your room and board, meal points will be attached to your Campus Access Card, and may be used at the nearest IU dining facility.
Roommate information will be made available to you on IFS check-in day. Your roommate will be of like gender, most likely enrolled in the same class. IFS assigns roommates in a way that maximizes the connection between the residence hall and your seminar.
