Incoming College Credits
Many IFS students bring college credit with them to IU (gained in dual enrollment, IB, or AP opportunities). These kinds of course experiences are valuable and reflect a willingness on a student’s part to take advantage of great educational opportunities. The IFS program is about more than obtaining credit hours in a short period of time, it’s an opportunity to gain first-hand knowledge of IU resources, expectations, and opportunities. Students choose from among forty activities and events in order to make friends and get to know campus life, and learn “how” to be an effective college student while adjusting to life away from home and new-found freedoms.
