The IFS program will follow the University's guidelines for August and beyond, which have not yet been finalized. It is possible that the 2020 IFS program will be hybrid (part virtual and part in-person) or completely virtual if the on-campus experience is not deemed safe. We are working to make the IFS program experience as dynamic and engaging as years past. IFS students will get to know and learn from exceptional IU professors in small group and class sizes. And just like years past, IFS will employ dozens of student leaders, many of which are IFS alums, to help execute the program and serve as academic and social mentors.
Our goal at IFS is to build students’ metacognition. This means that we help you think about how to think! Metacognitive skills help you discover how you learn best, develop your critical thinking abilities, and enhance your social and emotional development.
No matter how this program looks in 2020, you’ll gain valuable knowledge, build transferable skills, and meet lifelong friends!
