Take advantage of everything Indiana University has to offer with the Intensive Freshman Seminars program. Students who participate in IFS have the unique opportunity to begin coursework prior to the start of fall semester, take a three credit hour class led by one of IU’s top faculty members, and experience some of the exciting activities at Indiana University and in the city of Bloomington. During the two and a half week program, students learn how to engage in college-level classroom discussions and how to meet the high standards that faculty have for assignments, all while making lasting friendships and discovering all the possibilities that an IU education presents.
New Student Orientation
All IFS students still need to attend New Student Orientation. IFS provides a bridge between what students receive during Orientation and what they experience during their first semester at IU.
